Good friend, and fellow tattooer Adam France and I have been working on this chest piece for several years. On my recent visit to Columbus,Ohio we had a chance to put in another day session on this . hopefully one more session will complete this awesome piece on tattooer Fawn Baker.
Proud to have won 2nd place for best Bio Mech/Organic at my favorite tattoo convention Hell City. Big thanks to my client Jay for staying motivated and dedicated to completing his sleeve. Congratulations Jay.
After a spring of hiking with and tattooing clients in Phoenix I’m heading out for the summer. The Tahoe Tattoo Show is my first stop where I am fully booked and excited to start some projects on a couple of new clients.
I’ll be back home at The Blind Tiger to regroup then on to Denver and Tattoo Masquerade in July kicking off my West Coast guest spot trip. This will be my first time visiting my friend Jesso Lange in her Citrus Heights studio Imperious Rex. I’m going to drive up the coast landing in Portland with James and Ashley Kern at another first guest spot with No Hope No Fear. The last studio for this trip is NiteOwl North West where I’m visiting my friends Travis and Sara Broyles in Everett, WA.
If you are interested on continuing a project we have already started or in setting an appointment for your first session with me on this trip please email me through the contact link and I’ll get back to you ASAP with available dates.
I am really looking forward to this trip because the drive up the North West coast is incredible and packed with inspiring nature.
If you are interested you can follow me on Instagram for daily updates and any last minute openings @tymcewen. I look forward to seeing old clients and meeting new ones while enjoying a summer away from the scorching desert sun. See you all soon!
I Was fortunate to do a collaboration with one of my favorite artists and inspirations, Nick Baxter.
The concept was to visually illustrate the clients departure from a life in the corporate world for his true passion of brewing beer. so we created a harsh, dangerous and cold environment , then grew new life from this into the plant itself. We had a awesome time, and cant wait to do it again. Thanks Vince for getting tattooed and traveling all the way to Austin, and thanks Nick.
I am happy to announce I am settling in Arizona! I have come to the conclusion that the desert is the place for me. I am from the desert in South Utah and have always drawn inspiration from the landscape.
I am so grateful that so many of my clients are willing to travel great distances to be tattooed by me that any appointments booked in Arizona will be booked at a flat day rate.
I am still offering transport to and from the airport. If you are in the Phoenix area or looking to travel somewhere sunny to be tattooed email me for more info.
See you guys in the desert!
